Hosting Prices
From the following list of Prices for the
Standard Hosting Plan select those items that meet your needs.
Each Standard Hosting Contract will at least require the Basic Hosting
Package. You will only need the Basic Hosting Package unless you
intend to sell products using a shopping cart or receive private data
directly from your site.
Server Disk Space: Up to 40MB and
3000 MB of Data Transfer/Mo.
* These items are required for
a basic hosting package.
Note: If you already
have a Domain Name that you wish to transfer to your new hosting account,
we will charge a $25.00 setup fee, however, you will not be
charged to register a new domain. If you do not already
have one to transfer, we will charge you $10.00 to register your
new Domain Name for one year plus a $25.00 setup fee. You can choose the
size hosting account that best fits your situation. You will always have
the option to increase the size of your account to any size you wish. Th4e
Basic Hosting Account begins with 10 Megs of server space and may be increased
to as much as 40 Megs under the Basic Hosting Classification.
We recommend setting up the basic
hosting package. This allows minimal cost during the setting up
of your domain name and designing your website. This will also
place your business on the web more quickly, since we will provide you
with a temporary home page that will tell your viewers that your site
is currently under development. Your viewers will be able to
send you email directly from your temporary home page and you can
begin using your email address with your present and future
customers. Your email will be automatically forwarded to the
your address of choice. In most cases you can use your present
email program to retrieve your messages from your account
automatically.
The Miva Shopping Cart can be added to your
site to allow your customers to shop and purchase your products or
services online directly from your website.

Description of Hosting Services
Setup Fee: $25.00
- The setup
fee is a one time charge to setup the account on the server..
Basic Fee: $10.95 - $24.95/Month
- The Basic
Fee for Standard Hosting is paid monthly, quarterly or annually.
- The Basic
Fee for a Merchant Account is paid monthly from your Merchant
Account, therefore you must maintain an adequate balance in the
account to cover monthly charges for this service.
Domain Registration: $10.00/Year.
- We will
assist you in searching for your own domain name for your website.
- We can also
register your domain name for $10.00 for 1 year.
- You will
need to host your domain name as part of the registration process.
- We will
host your domain name as part of your hosting contract with BMCI.
- We will
post your site as under construction until the final design is ready
for publishing to your new site.
Transferring Domain Name: $25.00
- If you
already have a domain name registered, it can be transferred to our
server for a one time charge of $25.00.
Added Disk Space: $10.00/Month

- This
feature allows you to accept subscribers through your website for
newsletters, etc. This allows you to create your own private
mailing list of customers to keep in touch with and to send out
sales brochures and advertisements from your email program.

- We offer
support for MySQL, mSQL, PostgreSQL database applications.
- This is a
scalable, high performance data base management system.
- Your
product catalog is stored in this database along with prices for
each product
Miva Shopping Cart: Lease Software
$30.00/Month
- This
feature allows the creation of your storefront that displays your
products with pictures and description and allows your customer to
select the item and place it in the shopping cart for later
purchase.
- The
customer can place as many products as he/she wishes into the
shopping cart while viewing your site.
- Once your
customer is done shopping an invoice is prepared and displayed for
approval.
- The
customer can add or delete items and approve the final order.
- The order
is then processed for sales tax and shipping charges.
- The total
is then calculated and processed for payment using a major credit
card.
- Once the
payment has been approved, the order is sent for preparation &
shipment and the confirmation is emailed to the customer.
- All of this
is accomplished electronically with the exception of the preparation
and shipping of the product.
Merchant Account: Typically
$59.95/Mo. Plus Fees.
- Online
credit card transactions require a merchant account processing
system in order to receive payment by credit card. Once your
merchant account is established, we will install the server
extensions and SSL needed to process credit card and check
processing transactions.
- Requires Security SSL.
Processor: Generally Included with Merchant
Account Package.
- In order to
receive credit card and e-check payments over the internet you will
need a credit card processor. Most of the time this service
will be supplied by the company or bank that provides your merchant
account. You need to be aware that merchant accounts require
an online processor such as: Cybercash or AuthorizeNet as the
connection between your website and the merchant account
provider. The cost of the processor is generally included in
the merchant account package fees.
Security SSL: $50.00
Setup Fee
- Provides a
secure directory in your website for transmitting private
information (such as credit card numbers).
- Provides
support for CGI-Scripts requiring Secure Socket Layer encryption of
credit card data.
- Required
for a merchant account processing system.
Payment
Options:
- Payment for
all services and options are in advance monthly.
The
cost for an online storefront is minimal when considering the cost of
a retail store and sales clerks. One major consideration is the
limited cost of advertising worldwide on the internet and the
potential coverage against the local store with local
advertising. Exposure and cost to advertise are the significant
differences.
